(1) Vehicle Engine charges a publication fee (article processing charge) for manuscripts that pass the review and are accepted for publication. A tiered pricing model is adopted, where the base fee per article is adjusted based on the manuscript’s length and typesetting complexity.

(2) The collection of publication fees strictly complies with national publishing policies to ensure transparency and fairness. Practices such as "replacing rigorous review with fees" or "compromising quality for fees" are strictly prohibited.

(3) Publication fees must be remitted to the bank account of the China North Engine Research Institute (the superior unit of the journal’s organizer). An invoice will be issued upon receipt of payment.

(4) If a manuscript is retracted due to academic misconduct, a refund will be processed after deducting ￥1,000 as investigation costs.
