Taking a singlecylinder gasoline engine as the research object, the overall model of engine system was built by referring to the working parameters of prototype with AVL Boost software. The combustion model and heat transfer model were selected to realize the simulation of thermodynamic influencing parameters. The simulation results were compared with the experimental results and the parameters were further corrected to acquire an accurate simulation model. Based on the simulation modelwith a better precision, the valve scheme of prototype was mainly optimized, the united simulation optimization environment of AVL Boost and Matlab/Simulink software was then built, the intelligent querying of optimal valve timing was further conducted with the particle swarm intelligent optimization algorithm, and the optimal valve scheme was finally determined, which provided a basis for optimization and improvement in the twostroke operation mode of the prototype system.
