Abstract

The application of fuzzy control to the energy management strategy of hybrid electric vehicle has the advantages of high reliability, good realtime performance and good robustness, but for the strong subjective dependence and poor vehicle speed following effect, an energy management strategy of parallel hybrid system based on optimized fuzzy control was hence proposed to research the advanced hybrid control technology and intelligent optimization algorithm. According to the speed, torque and efficiency of the engine and motor in the hybrid power system, the energy control strategy of hybrid power system was formulated based on the fuzzy rules. Considering the limitation of fuzzy logic parameter adjustment, the concept of equivalent fuel consumption was introduced, the optimal equivalent fuel consumption of whole vehicle was taken as the optimization goal, and the membership function of fuzzy controller was further optimized by combining with the sparrow search swarm intelligence algorithm. Finally, the control strategy model was built by Matlab/Simulink, and the simulation experiment was conducted by combining with the vehicle physical model built by Simcenter/AMESim. The results show that the SOC fluctuation reduces by 7.02% and the fuel economy improves by 5.93% under the conditions of CHTC-D cycle after using the improved strategy, which provides a reliable basis for the formulation of hybrid electric vehicle control strategy.
