Control Strategy for Multi-Mode Hybrid Electric Vehicle
In view of the advantages and disadvantages of current structure and the development status for hybrid electric vehicle, a hybrid structure with dualmotor and dualclutch was proposed and the variety of driving modes could be realized with the structure. The advantage of each mode was integrated and the characteristics of engine, motor and battery were hence fully utilized to save energy as much as possible. Then an instantaneous optimized energy management strategy was built based on logic thresholds and ECMS. Simulation and experimental analysis prove that the instantaneous optimized energy management strategy based on ECMS can save energy by 6% in a NEDC operating cycle compared with the rulebased strategy. For the lack of evaluation criteria for the rationality of current control strategy and the effectiveness of optimization algorithm, taking the NEDC operating cycle as an example, an evaluation method is proposed from the perspective of calculating the resistance work of vehicle to verify fuel economy and subsequent optimization capability under different energy management strategies.
