Abstract

The RDE tests of light duty gasoline vehicles were carried out in Beijing, Chongqing and Kunming respectively. Under the premise of meeting the current RDE regulative requirements, the influences of driving behavior on working load and emission were studied. Compared with the working load of WLTC, the range of RDE load was wider. In RDE test, the aggressive driving would lead to the fuel protection enrichment, and hence CO emission increased nonlinearly with the increase of aggressive degree. By using the CO2 plain characteristic curve of WLTC cycle at plateau, the normality of RDE test windows was difficult to be meted. The emission of cold start stage was much higher than that of post start-up stage and therefore should be restricted within the standard legislative regulation range.
