Abstract

One-dimensional initial target design and detailed three-dimensional flow simulation analysis were carried out to improve the poor plateau adaptability of vehicle transonic centrifugal compressor. The working ability and pressure ratio of impeller improved through reducing the back sweep angle and increasing the number of blades. The performance of the compressor was further optimized through the detailed design of the blade such as the forward sweep of splitter blade and the curve sweep of blade outlet. The performance of the compressor was further verified by the bench test. Accordingly, the highpressure ratio centrifugal compressor was successfully designed, which met the requirements of the engine.
