Abstract

Three vehicles fueled with China Ⅴ gasoline, low aromatic E10 and low olefins E10 that met ChinaⅠ, ChinaⅢ and ChinaⅤ emission regulation respectively were tested according to the NEDC and WLTC cycles And the particulate matter (PM) and the particle number (PN) were analyzed. The results showed that the ethanol gasoline could reduce PM emission significantly under the two cycles. Compared with China Ⅴ gasoline, the low aromatics E10 could reduce the PM emission of ChinaⅠand China Ⅲ vehicle by 19% and 35% respectively and the low olefins E10 could reduce the PM emission of China Ⅴvehicle by 46%. In addition, ethanol gasoline could reduce the PN emission of WLTC cycle. The average reduction of low aromatics E10 and low olefins E10 was 43% and 32% respectively.
