Abstract

The installation and driving environment model of diesel power unit was built by using multi-body dynamics software, and Class D uneven road model was established according to FFT method and real-world usage scenarios. Based on the established model, the influence of vibration for diesel power unit was studied under the variation conditions of vehicle speed, vehicle body mass, and suspension stiffness. The results show that the vibration of diesel power unit indicates the distribution of continuous frequency under the conditions of tracked vehicle uneven road driving. The change of vehicle velocity will lead to small-amplitude increase of vibration intensity, and the change of vehicle body mass will influence the amplitude and frequency of small-amplitude vibration. The vehicle body mass increases, and the amplitude and frequency of small-amplitude vibration decrease. In addition, increased suspension stiffness will lead to a significant increase in both the amplitude and frequency of vibrations in the diesel power unit, making it the most influential factor among the three.
