Abstract
In order to respond to the national call of "carbon peak, carbon neutrality" and achieve "zero carbon emissions", hydrogen engine was selected as the key technology route of carbon neutrality. In order to conduct rapid experimental research on the combustion of hydrogen gas in internal combustion engine, a cylinder-direct-injection hydrogen injection scheme was adopted based on gasoline engine, and detailed testing of direct injection hydrogen was conducted on a 1.5 L engine. The effects of gasoline and hydrogen fuel on engine performance and fuel consumption were compared and analyzed. And under the condition of hydrogen direct injection, different hydrogen injection strategies were studied including hydrogen injection phase, hydrogen injection pressure, and different hydrogen nozzle flow rates, and the effects of them on the thermal efficiency and NOx emissions of hydrogen engine were further studied, which laid a foundation for the company subsequent development of hydrogen engine.
