Abstract

A multi-objective optimization model was established based on the ignition, volatility, low temperature and flow performance of fuel and the mixing ratio of hydrogenated biodiesel-ethanol-diesel ternary blended fuel was optimized. The respective characteristic equations of above-referred performance and multiobjective evaluation functions were established according to test values of cetane number, 95% distilling range, condensation point and kinematic viscosity of ternary blended fuel. The reasonable weight coefficients of different performance trends were then analyzed. According to the results of the evaluation functions of different performance trends and relative legislations, the optimal mixing ratio of hydrogenated biodiesel-ethanol was determined as less than 10%. The study provided a practical and feasible way for optimizing the blending ratio of multiple fuels.
