Abstract

With the gradual strengthening of engine, the knocking tendency of engine increased under low speed and high load conditions and the low speed preignition phenomenon instead of normal ignition was a necessary and insufficient condition for superknock. Through the bench test of a supercharged direct injection engine, the relationships between the advance degree of preignition timing and the peaktopeak value of cylinder pressure oscillation and maximum cylinder pressure were acquired and the relationship between the preignition timing and its development result was described. Then the influence of oil additive with different element components on the preignition frequency was discussed, the role of magnesium element in the oil additive was mainly described and the effects of calcium element on frequency, probability and strength of preignition evolving into superknock was further analyzed.
