Abstract

In order to analyze the combustion oscillation characteristics of F-T diesel, the experiment was conducted on a turbocharged intercooling direct injection diesel engine fueled with F-T diesel and 0# diesel at medium and high speed and load. The results show that the ignition timing of F-T diesel advances and its combustion peak pressure and pressure oscillation amplitude decrease under the same operating condition. According to the spectrum analysis of combustion pressure, the first order oscillation frequency increases with the increase of speed and decreases with the increase of load and the frequency of F-T diesel is smaller than that of 0# diesel under all test conditions. In addition, engine load has a greater influence on F-T diesel than 0# diesel. From the perspective of combustion vibration noise source, F-T diesel is beneficial to reduce the combustion noise and combustion impulse load of diesel engine.
