Abstract

Based on the analysis of existing driving circuit for
high speed solenoid valve, the voltage selfboosted method based on
solenoid valve was proposed. By this method, the storage capacitor absorbed
energy when the valve shut and the energy was further supplemented by utilizing
the solenoid valve coil as boost circuit inductance in the working interval of
two cylinders, which ensured storage capacitor voltage to be stable. The
circuit realized the fast driving of dual voltage and the effective recovery of
idle driving energy, which cut the volume and cost of power circuit design due
to the elimination of external boost circuit. Moreover, the electromagnetic
compatibility of ECU printed circuit board was easy to meet. The method was
applied to a high pressure common rail, the driving parameters were optimized
and the reliability was further conducted by the test. The results show that
the method can meet the engineering requirements.
