Abstract

The dynamic simulation of high speed solenoid valves was carried out in two different excitation sources of drive current and drive voltage. Compared with experimental data, it was thought that using drive voltage as excitation source could simulate the opening process of solenoid valve, but the valve could not close due to the lack of current feedback. A driving circuit model of high speed solenoid with current feedback was established based on the platform of Ansys Simplorer. The model was comprised of electricalmagnetic mechanical fields via coupling the driving circuit model with 3D model. The agreement of simulation results with test data proved that the simulation model could precisely describe the opening and closing process of valve.
