According to the generation mechanism of turbulent flow, a new type of system that can generate turbulence inside constant volume combustion bomb was designed to build a controllable uniform and symmetrical turbulence environment inside the bomb. Based on the Fluent software, a numerical simulation model of internal flow inside turbulent constant volume combustion bomb was established. The numerical simulation was conducted and the distribution characteristics of internal flow field inside the bomb based on the fixed parameters were acquired. The characteristcs of internal flow field of turbulent constant volume combustion bomb was further analyzed. The results show that the turbulent flow system can generate a uniform and symmetrical turbulence environment inside the bomb. In addition, the change law of turbulent strength within a cycle in the center of bomb is calculated at different speeds of motor by using the simulation. By comparing simulated results with test results, the accuracy of design and simulation is verified.
