摘要

甲醇是一种清洁可再生能源,也是一种常温常压下为液态的能量载体,在能源动力领域有着广阔的应用前景。利用发动机余热将甲醇裂解为富氢混合气,再掺入发动机缸内燃烧的技术可提高能源利用效率,减少污染物排放。基于燃料特点,从氧化机理、着火延迟时间、火焰传播速度等方面给出了掺混富氢气体对甲醇燃料基础燃烧特性的影响。考虑到富氢气体的掺混燃烧有利于加快火焰传播速度及扩展稀薄燃烧极限,给出了发动机缸内火焰传播、燃烧放热、循环效率、污染物排放等方面的变化规律。本研究为甲醇掺混富氢混合气燃烧过程调控及其在点燃式发动机中的应用提供了理论基础和应用支撑,在保能源安全及“双碳”绿色发展时代背景下具有重要意义。

Abstract

Methanol is a kind of clean and renewable energy source and a liquid energy carrier at ambient conditions, which offers immense potential in the field of energy propulsion. The technology by using engine waste heat to decompose methanol into hydrogen-rich mixture and subsequently injecting into the engine cylinder for combustion can enhance energy efficiency and reduce pollutant emissions. The effects of blending the hydrogen-rich gas on the fundamental combustion properties of methanol fuel were given in terms of oxidation mechanisms, ignition delay time, and flame propagation speed. Considering that the combustion of hydrogen-rich mixture promoted faster flame propagation and extended the lean burn limit, the changing laws of in-cylinder flame propagation, combustion heat release, cycle efficiency, and pollutant emissions were delineated. The study laid theoretical groundwork and provided practical support for controlling the combustion process of fuel blended with hydrogen-rich gas and its application in SI engines, which was of great significance in the era of energy security and dual-carbon green development.
