The three-dimensional models of cylinder liner, cylinder head and cylinder block were established by Pro/E software and the cooling water jacket model was extracted. Using the GEM3D module in GT-Suite, the threedimensional model was converted into one-dimensional model of pipe, flow components and thermal mass. The bench test data verified the accuracy of the model. Then the influences of heat transfer, temperature distribution and coolant inlet flow, engine speed and engine load on engine heat transfer under the calibration condition were analyzed. The simulation results provided a theoretical basis for the control and optimization of heat transfer in engine body.
